EarthStar Artists 2006-2007
For the past 4 years, nearby EarthStar Bank
began a community partnership with Shady Grove Elementary. Art teacher Ami Amada was approached by
their interior decorator to gather student work for selection and display in their
new bank. Fifteen pieces of work have
been on display each year, showing the community a sampling of our Shady Grove
students’ creativity. Last year’s
selected artists were: Molly Gress(KH), Devon Burrell(1M), Catelyn
Huang(1M), Jennifer Fox(2H), Olivia Ligus(2H), Eric Smith(4W), Jason Bugis(4B),
Sarah Schacht(4W), Michelle Zhong(4R), Devin Johnson(4B), Yun Cho(4VR), Elliot
Konstant(4CW), Cynthia Duplat(5M), Jessica Quesenberry(5S), and Jackie
Kling(5P). EarthStar presented
them with a bank account of $25.00 in appreciation of loaning their work for
the year. Their work will be returned to them and 15 new students’
work will be on exhibit.
On May 31, 2007, Ms. Lynn Levy Marks,
EarthStar’s Branch Manager presented certificates and recognized this year’s
selected artists. They are:

artwork on display is professionally matted and framed and on loan to the bank
for one year. Please support our
students’ fine efforts and our art program by visiting the bank to view the
work. EarthStar Bank is located at 48
W. Skippack Pike at the intersection with Butler Pike, one traffic light east
of Lewis Lane.
