SHADY GROVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Technology Objectives

 

 

 

By the year 2007, 100% Shady Grove Elementary School students will meet the district’s technology expectations as measured by:

  1. a 25 percentage point increase in the percent of grade 5 students raising their expectation level from limited to below expectation, 25% from below expectation to expectation, and 25% from expectation to above expectation in their ability to create a research-based, multimedia project using some combination of resources such as CD-ROM, books, digital camera, and Internet, with teacher support.
  2. a 25 percentage point increase in the percent of grade 3 students raising their expectation level from limited to below expectation, 25% from below expectation to expectation, and 25% from expectation to above expectation in their ability to complete a series of teacher-directed projects incorporating the use of elements such as word processing, data manipulation, Internet, search strategies, and graphics.
  3. a 25 percentage point increase in the percent of grade 1 students raising their expectation level from limited to below expectation, 25% from below expectation to expectation, and 25% from expectation to above expectation in their understanding of basic operations and concepts of technology.
