By the year 2007, all SGES students will demonstrate
effective expressive and receptive communication skills as measured by:
a 15 percentile point increase in the MAT reading
comprehension mean scores of students in grades 2, 3, and 4.
100% of grades 1, 3, and 5 students achieving grade
level or above on the "quality of writing" component of the WSD
Student Writing Summary.
100% of grades K, 2, & 4 students achieving grade
level or above on the "participating effectively in group
discussions" component of the SGES Oral Communication Rubric.
